BREAKFAST-ST JOSEPH DAY

2026—–THANK YOU FOR JOINING US for our fundraiser. The folks enjoyed their meals and we enjoyed serving them. Appreciation is given to our chefs: Anthony B, Greg K, Jimmie K.  Kitchen prep: Natalie B. & Avery; hands-on work: Karen, Kathie, MaryLou, Jennifer, youth-Betty, Mary, Margaret, Anthony, Beatrice; media-Betsy, Clean up crew-Dan & all the above; Refuse help-Chris.\

We always appreciate your continued participation through meal purchases, food donations and monetary gifts.  You can enjoy our delicious meal at home or have the option to eat in, which was extremely popular last year.

Our abundant breakfast consists of Eggs, any style, HoneyBaked ham, olives, homemade buttermilk pancakes and home fries, St Joseph bread or roll, juice & hot beverage.

Our special fragrant St. Joseph bread will be available in two-loaf packages for $6! Yeast bread seasoned with ground mahleb and orange water. (similar to cardamom)

 

No tickets are needed, just mark your calendar.  Payment accepted at the door.  Dine in price is $12, $6 kids 6-10.    Takeout is $10.00 adults and $6.00 children 6-10 years of age and free under 5 with adult purchase.  No beverages provided with take out.

Use the sign-up sheet in the back of church for donations or see Karen personally.

Volunteers needed to set up, during and after breakfast for clean-up.

Donations of food items are welcome:

  • 50 lb Potatoes                  – Donated by Patchoski family
  • 50 Dozen X-Large Eggs  – Donated by Patchoski family
  • 1 gallon Milk
  • 8 lb Black Olives with pits- need $50 to purchase
  • 3 doz French rolls from National Bakery
  • Syrup-     need $25 to purchase
  • Butter      need $40 to purchase
  • Orange Juice
  • 45 lbs. HoneyBaked Ham donated by the Ed Bolus family in memory of Joseph Bolus

Thank you to all those who donated goods, performed services and volunteered for our annual breakfast in any capacity including set up and dish washing. .  The Scranton area community was most complimentary of our food & bread. We had so many repeat visitors.  Again, we were able to host a successful event.

Join us for this annual event, enjoyed by the greater Scranton community for over 60 years!
